Our client is a Swiss manufacturing company of current and voltage converters. Being on the market for over 50 years, they currently have a presence in 15 countries with over 1500 employees worldwide. The company focuses on two main production lines - industrial and automotive. Their products are embedded in trains, solar panels, wind generators, smart grip systems, industrial, and medical equipment. Within the automotive industry, they offer software products that are used to control electric motors, charging stations, and batteries. Our client has a presence in Bulgaria since 2013 and are currently the second-largest production center in the country with more than 25 production lines. With their newly opened R&D center in Sofia, they are looking to expand and grow, and as such, they are currently looking for a:


Senior R&D Engineer – Electronics


Responsibilities:

• Drive the entire product life cycle, from conceptualization through development and testing to production introduction.
• Design electronic circuits to guarantee product parameters and functionality.
• Conduct simulations, calculations, and preliminary tests for product design verification, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
• Collaborate within the project team, supplying essential information and documentation, and presenting results promptly.

Requirements:

• Engineering University Degree in Electronics;
• 5 years of experience in mixed analog/digital electronics design;
• Тechnical background and proficiency in simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, and COMSOL;
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC requirements is essential, and experience in a magnetic or mechanical; environment is considered an additional asset.
• Demonstrate a proactive, organized approach, with a commitment to meeting milestones and deadlines.
• Exhibit strong team collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English
