Our client is an IT product company in the fintech industry, a global provider of payment services, acting as a PCI level 1 certified gateway specializing in online payment processing, risk management and fraud protection.

With offices in over six countries, they offer an all-in-one payment solution fully customized to support clients ranging from start-up merchants to white label operations. Their services include but are not limited to, credit and debit card payments, alternative & contactless methods of payments, and other local solutions. In order to ensure compliance and security of transactions from financial perspective they are now looking to expand their Reconciliation department. They are in search of a Reconciliation Accounting Specialist to join their team at their Sofia-based office. The role offers the opportunity for partial remote work following successful on-boarding.


Reconciliation Accounting Specialist


Responsibilities:

- Complete daily reconciliations of transactions and settlements;
- Identify and communicate reconciling items within established timeframes;
- Investigate and identify data anomalies, analyze and research data, and proactively address reporting issues;
- Ensure follow-up actions as and when necessary;
- Provide timely feedback on issues or account statuses;
- Provide support and feedback for ongoing reconciliations.

Requirements:

- University degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics or similar;
- Reconciliation/accounting experience preferred;
- Previous experience in auditing is a significant advantage;
- Previous experience in online payments is a plus;
- Being responsible and detail oriented is a must;
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and advanced VBA knowledge;
- Knowledge of Salesforce would be a plus;
- Willingness to learn and initiate;
- Fluent English.
