Our client is an IT product company in the fintech industry, established in 2015 with a headcount of over 110 people globally. They have an office in Sofia as of 2019 with a development team of engineers working on an innovative platform ensuring secure transactions for clients worldwide. They are a global provider of payment services, acting as a PCI level 1 certified gateway specializing in online payment processing, risk management and fraud protection.

With offices in over six countries, it offers an all-in-one payment solution fully customized to support clients ranging from start-up merchants to white label operations. Their services include, but are not limited to, credit and debit card payments, alternative & contactless methods of payments, and other local solutions. In order to deliver the best products, they are now looking to expand their R&D team and are in search of a Golang Developer. They are offering a hybrid work model after the completion of the onboarding period. 


Golang Developer

Responsibilities:

 • Build and own microservices that perform various mission-critical tasks in the environment.
• Work on very large datasets, its warehousing and real-time business analytics and anti-fraud.
• Contribute code to the various open source libraries.
• Develop third-party integrations for reliable service delivery.
• Strive to attend and present at various national and international conferences about the challenges we face and the solutions we find in our day-to-day ops schedule.
• Actively work on implementing initiatives to drive quality such as stability, performance, and clean code.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience with Golang development.
• Good experience with AWS, Kubernetes will be considered an advantage.
• Scalable database experience (NoSQL and RDBMS).
• Experience with Kafka/PostgreSQL/Mongo/Redis will be considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of Linux and the container ecosystem will be considered an advantage.
• Microservice experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Fluent English.
