Our client is medium-sized agri-food manufacturer with a couple of production sites in Bulgaria. They have a well-established distribution base and a carefully developed array of product lines. With a long history on our market, their products are recognized for their quality, variety, and attention to detail.

Motivated to advance their business to another scale, they aim to attract an experienced results-driven manager with strong business acumen, and a good understanding of strategy, organizational resources, and production planning.

General Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for business growth.
• Oversee day-to-day operations at multiple sites for efficiency and quality.
• Strengthen relationships suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders to support sales and distribution.
• Monitor market trends for innovation and differentiation opportunities.
• Implement best practices to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
• Represent and lead the company to enhance brand visibility.

Requirements:

• University degree;
• Proven experience in a senior management role within the agri-food manufacturing industry;
• Strong leadership and people management skills;
• Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities;
• Strong ability to interpret financial data and make data-driven decisions;
• Familiarity with production planning, supply chain management, and quality control processes;
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence;
• Flexibility to travel as needed and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
• English language proficiency.
