Our client is a well-known energy and environmental consultancy with more than 10 years of expertise in developing and implementing European projects for researching topics related to improvements in air, water, biodiversity, waste management, energy efficiency, and green economy. They are also keen to support IT developments, testing, and implementation of GIS or ERP modules, which would enable better measurement, monitoring, and policy compliance in these domains.

Currently they specialize in projects for the LIFE Programme and are looking to attract a motivated:


European Projects Manager - Sofia, Hybrid


Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and participates in the implementation of activities related to LIFE Programme projects;
• Develops and monitors the schedule for the implementation of activities, monitors and adheres to deadlines;
• Gathers data, reports, analysis, and other publicly available sources and makes resumes;
• Participates in the financial reporting for the organization, with the accounting house and to the EC;
• Coordinates and monitors the work of the external experts on the project, incl. their contractual relationship with the organization;
• Provides assistance to the manager and other experts, when needed.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Law, Economics, European studies or Business administration;
• Knowledge of European programs (LIFE Programme in particular will be seen as a strong advantage);
• Experience in working on the implementation of projects in European programs - minimum 3 years;
• Ability to work under pressure and focus to meet deadlines;
• Self-organized and attentive to the detail;
• Advanced command of the English language, including written and spoken.
